Well, the time has finally come. After almost seven years of planning, the nature of parking in downtown Ventura is dramatically changing. Beginning Tuesday morning the 14th of September it will no longer be free to park on Main Street (and a few side streets). The new pay stations will be one tool to helping the City better manage the supply of public parking.
